4) Wearing a weighted vest (10% of your body weight) while walking can up your calorie burn by 8%. Or lift weights before the cardio part of your workout. Lift heavier weights for fewer reps and burn more fat.
5) Build muscle - as more muscle equals a big metabolism boost. Strength training can help trim major fat according to research. Doing slow, versus normal speed, reps increases muscle strength by 50%.
6) Listen to up tempo songs - as they make you run harder and faster according to British scientists.
7) Keep it going - just 80 minutes of aerobic exercise or weight training each week keeps you from regaining belly fat according to University of Alabama at Birmingham research.
What you eat also has an impact on your body's fat burning ability...
1) More protein helps you burn more post meal fat than if you eat lower protein meals according to Australian research. This suggests that an omelet is better for breakfast than the same number of calories from a bagel. Typically a low glycemic index breakfast will help you burn more fat than a high glycemic meal.

You might consider taking fish oil (6 grams a day) and then working out as a way to burn body fat according to Australian research.
5) Watch your alcohol intake - as few as 90 calories worth of vodka can slow your metabolism by 73%. And skip the juice and enjoy the whole fruit instead.
6) Eating a diet high in monounsaturated fat (olive oil, avocados) can cut body weight and fat according to the British Journal of Nutrition.
7) Get enough vitamin C and D - it seems vitamin C can help you burn more fat, and D might just help you lose fat. You want your intake to be from 400 to 500 mg of vitamin C; 800 mg of vitamin D every day.

1) Dress to move - wear comfortable clothes, like jeans, whenever
