The Best Workout For You

Dear Reader,

There are many reasons people give for not getting the exercise we know we all should be to stay healthy and strong. Health clubs and gyms turn you off. You don't have time in your schedule. It's super hard to get motivated. Or maybe you've been inactive so long that you have no idea at all where to start. The experts say your best bet, no matter what you reason for not working out, is to try and find an exercise regimen that works with your personality, your lifestyle and your fitness level today.

So if you hate the gym... can't stand suiting up for the health club, try things you can do anywhere - at home, the park or the beach. Biking, walking or hiking are all great choices. Or you might do your exercises outside... pushups, crunches, squat jumps and planks are some great activities you can do just about anywhere. And don't forget about the outdoor group classes going on at parks all over the nation, even in winter. There also lots of adult recreational sports leagues for hockey, soccer or even ultimate Frisbee.

No time for workouts, try doing them right at your desk. Do dips on your chair, do pushups off the edge of your desk, use resistance bands to do bicep curls and tricep extensions. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, walk about as you talk on the phone, have walking meetings instead of conference room bound ones. All with your boss' approval of course.

If you're a social sort, group activities are a great way to get in shape. Dancing is one of the most popular activities, and thanks to TV programs like Dancing With The Stars, people are seeing what a wonderful workout it can be. Another option with dance roots is Zumba, a new exercise craze that has you moving to Latin dance rhythms. There are also clubs for running, walking, cycling or hiking. This approach let's you share a common activity while also enjoying a bit of socializing.

For those seriously lacking in motivation, sometimes a boot camp (think TV program The Biggest Loser) can be a good way to get yourself up and active, if you are motivated by someone yelling at you that is. A visit to the doctor would be in order before you sign up, but one you get the okay, these increasingly popular camps might be just what you need. Ranging from the mild to the totally crazy, boot camps offer individual coaching and beneficial direction in a group setting. Just do your homework before you sign up or send in a deposit.

A boot camp approach gives you the benefit of a coach, and the peer pressure (or competition) that comes from this type of atmosphere. With everyone pushing to perform at their best, this can maximize your own workout, keep you from indulging in things you know aren't good for you.

The Best Workout For You Continued...

If you have the will but need some pointers on how to workout, consider hiring a certified professional trainer. Do your homework and find someone who has education, experience and is certified by an organization like the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). The right pro can create a workout to fit your needs and situation.

If you can't afford to hire a trainer, think about teaming up with a couple of friends to split the cost, or take a group exercise class that's taught by a trainer.

And if, like all too many of us, you are way out of shape, take things slow and start off with activities that will make your lifestyle more active. If you're seriously overweight or have been very inactive for a very long time, get your doctor's approval before you start exercising. Some options to try are exergames such as Wii Fit where the intensity is low to moderate, and it's actually fun.

To your good health,

P.S: Nike...Ebay...Amazon and Walmart pay for your opinion

Fortune 500 companies make their money by people like you and I buying their products.

But how do they know what we want to buy? Easy they pay to find out the products we like, where we shop and what we buy.

In a nutshell big businesses need people to tell them what products to make.

People like Michelle McAllister - a 34 year old full-time mother of two. Michelle and many others help "big business" make millions, although they haven't got any marketing or sales experience.

In fact Michelle knows absolutely nothing about business, but she does know what she likes...

And that's exactly the information these companies are after and will pay you for.

Click through to discover how Michelle quickly profits by telling big companies her opinion and how you can do it too...
